The majority of paperless reimbursement carriers are fully implemented. We are working with the remaining carriers and we anticipate final approval of all remaining files within the next few weeks.
As you may be aware, USPS employees have the opportunity to enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) through the FSAFEDS Program during Open Season. An FSAFEDS account lets you set aside part of your paycheck before taxes are taken out, and then you can use that tax-free money to pay for eligible expenses for you, your spouse, and eligible dependents.
Administration of the FSAFEDS Program transitioned from ADP to WageWorks on September 1, 2016. As part of this transition, the tools used for sending emails to FSAFEDS participants have changed.
The new FSAFEDS website is best viewed with Internet Explorer versions 9.0 and 10.0, Mozilla Firefox version 23.0 or higher, as well as the latest versions of Chrome and Safari. It is also compatible with most mobile devices.
FSAFEDS offers spouses the opportunity to link their accounts, so when one spouse's balance has been exhausted, paperless reimbursement claims are automatically forwarded and processed against the spouse's account with a remaining balance.
All pending Dependent Care FSA claims that were not reimbursed prior to the blackout period have been transitioned to WageWorks.
Are you enrolled in paperless reimbursement (PR)? If so, please read the following details to learn more about claims processing and other important details.
