Registering for Account Access
When visiting the new FSAFEDS website for the first time on or after September 1, 2016, you'll need to set up a new username and password to access your account. Get started by completing an online registration process.
Before you begin the registration process:
- Have your contact and banking information handy. You will need the name of your bank, its routing number, and your account number for direct deposit of your reimbursements.
- You must enter an email address to register. If you don't have an email address, you can obtain a free address from yahoo.com, gmail.com, etc.
Paperless Reimbursement Options
If you are enrolled in paperless reimbursement (PR), you will be asked to choose your preferred method for handling any out-of-pocket expenses we receive from your health care plan(s):
- Auto-reimbursement: Automatically process all health plan expenses received and reimburse these expenses directly to you.
Please note: Only the FEHB or FEDVIP policyholder can sign up for PR at this time. The ability to sign up using a spouse's policy will be available at a later date.
- Pick & Process: Rather than automatically reimburse expenses, your expenses are saved to our online account so you can decide if, how, and when these expenses are reimbursed.
Enhanced Security Features
For added security, you are required to verify your account as part of the registration process. You can choose to receive an email or text message containing a verification link. Simply follow the link and log in to your account using your new username and password to verify your account.
You can choose to have the system remember your device so you don't have to verify your account each time you log in. You will be required to complete this verification process whenever you log in to your account using a new or unrecognized device.
Activate Your Online Account
When you're done entering your information and verifying your account, you'll receive an email with instructions for completing the registration process. Follow these instructions to finish your registration and activate your account.
Check Out Your Online Account
Once your account is active, simply log in to your online account with your new username and password whenever you want to see your FSA details.
